🏅👏 A huge congratulations to Ryan and his brothers, who successfully completed the Windermere Marathon at the weekend in support of St Joseph's Hospice!

Taking on 26.2 miles is an incredible achievement, and we're so grateful that they chose to do it in aid of our hospice. Their dedication, determination and fundraising efforts will help us continue providing specialist care and support to local patients and families when they need it most.

Ryan and his family took on this challenge in memory of loved ones and to give back to the hospice after experiencing first-hand the care and compassion we provide.

🌈🎀 There's still time to be part of our Rainbow of Ribbons! 🎀🌈

As we enter the final weeks of June, we'd love to invite you to dedicate a ribbon in celebration or memory of someone special.

Each ribbon carries a personal message of love, remembrance, hope or gratitude, creating a beautiful and colourful display in the grounds of St Joseph's Hospice.

Ribbons can be purchased until 30 June, and our Rainbow of Ribbons display will remain in place throughout the first week of July, giving everyone the opportunity to visit, reflect and see the messages that mean so much to our community.

🏃‍♂️💜 Good luck to Ryan Howard and his brothers as they take on the Windermere Marathon on 14 June in support of St Joseph's Hospice!

This incredible challenge is deeply personal for Ryan and his family. Having experienced first-hand the care, compassion and support provided by the hospice to a close family member, as well as other loved ones affected by terminal illness, they wanted to give something back to a place that means so much to them.

The stunning Windermere Marathon may offer breathtaking views, but 26.2 miles is no small feat! Every step they take will help raise vital funds for St Joseph's Hospice, enabling us to continue providing specialist care, comfort and dignity to patients and their families.

As an independent hospice, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep delivering our services, and we're incredibly grateful to Ryan and his brothers for taking on this challenge.

Their commitment, kindness and dedication are truly awe-inspiring, and we are so grateful for everything they do. Whether they're offering a listening ear, helping at events, supporting our shops or lending a hand behind the scenes, their impact is felt across every corner of the hospice.
