Veterans Facing Homelessness? Help Is Available.
At Tom Harrison House, we understand that homelessness is often linked to complex challenges including addiction, poor mental health, trauma, and difficulties transitioning to civilian life.
Through our Reducing Veteran Homelessness Project (THH-RVH), funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust and in partnership with The Block Armed Forces Foundation we provide specialist support for Veterans across the Liverpool City Region who are struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues and are Homeless or at risk of Homelessness.
Our programme offers access to safe accommodation where appropriate and a tailored pathway to recovery, including:
πΉ Specialist addiction and mental health support
πΉ One-to-one therapy and peer mentoring
πΉ Life skills development and tenancy readiness
πΉ Intensive 12-week addiction treatment (where appropriate)
πΉ Ongoing aftercare, training, volunteering and employment support
πΉ Assistance accessing social housing and community services
What makes us different is our experienced team, many of whom have lived experience of military service and recovery themselves. We create an environment where Veterans feel understood, supported, and empowered to rebuild their lives.
Please help us spread the word. You never know who may need this support.
