After attending multiple emergency calls during a busy shift, one member of staff raised concerns about feeling extremely tired before being assigned a long-distance emergency transfer. 🚑

They felt under pressure to continue, despite knowing they hadn't had the rest they needed.

No one should feel forced to choose between speaking up about fatigue and working safely. ‼️

🚨 We have launched our 🛡️ Safe Blue Light Driving 🔵 campaign to address the critical issue of driver fatigue among the dedicated ambulance staff at Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS). 🚑

😴 Fatigue presents significant challenges, and our aim is to bring attention to this concern and advocate for solutions to ensure the safety of all involved. ✊
