We've been having a wonderful time over the summer at our all-age services learning about the fruit of the spirit. With times of worship, teaching and activities that are suitable for all ages there really is something for everyone as we learn and grow together in knowing God.

One lady shared with us that whilst on the way to church on Sunday morning she was struggling with a challenging situation and said to Jesus 'I really need you to speak to me today'. She arrived at church and said it was like the whole service was just for her. God spoke to her directly about the fruit of the spirit and gave her exactly what she needed to be able to go out and show kindness in a situation that was difficult.

It's so encouraging how God meets us where we're at and speaks into our personal situations. We'd love to hear what God has been saying to you over the summer and hopefully see you over the next couple of weeks at our 10:30am Sunday services.

Imagine If Trust, a charity working to bring transformation for families and especially those in most need in Liverpool, is recruiting a new Nursery Manager. Sticky Fingers Nursery is a core pillar of Imagine If’s vision and the Nursery Manager will be a senior position within the team. We are motivated by Christian ideals of community, grace, acceptance and compassion and looking for a senior manager that will reflect and model these values.

The Nursery Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, primarily on the nursery floor. You will also act as the named SENCO and line manage the team of practitioners (including volunteers). This role will be supported by a Deputy Manager Administrative Lead and Ofsted Nominated Person.

You will need a DfE recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification and relevant experience of working with children in an Early Years setting. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and obtaining at least two satisfactory references.

The position is 35 hours a week for 39 weeks pa (term time) with start date as soon as possible from 1st September.

End of year picnic with our staff team today! As we reach the end of the summer term our team shared lunch in the park, taking time to celebrate our wonderful interns and some of our staff who are moving on to new things over the summer break. Join us in prayer today for many people around the world who follow God despite dangerous circumstances and serious repercussions, should they be discovered.

Gracious God, grant them protection, and the joy of living in the reality of your real and present power.

On every continent:

Pray for people who talk to others about Jesus.
Pray that God would lead them to people He has prepared to be spoken to.
Pray that new expressions of the church will then begin.
