A lovely lunch out for Cath and Al last week at Rosie’s Café

Good food, plenty of chat and, most importantly, enjoying each other’s company. It’s the simple moments like these that make our days so special at Home from Home. 🥰

🐾 Sometimes, it’s the simplest things that bring the biggest smiles. ❤️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of Coco’s company, and our lovely Sheila certainly enjoyed every minute of playing fetch with her! 🐶🥰

Coco is our lovely Lols pup and she visits us every now and then. She brings so much happiness, laughter and fun whenever she comes along. ❤️

At Home from Home, we believe true person-centred support means making space for the things that matter to each individual. That’s why we’re more than happy for our loved ones to bring along their beloved pets too. 🐾

Because this isn’t about following a set routine. It’s about knowing the person, understanding what makes them happy and creating days around their choices, interests and what brings them joy.

And sometimes… that means a game of fetch with a very happy dog! 🥰🐾

This is Home from Home. ❤️

Remembering our beautiful Jo

Today we heard the very sad news that our lovely Jo has passed away.

When we think of Jo, we can’t help but smile. This video captures her doing what she loved most — having a dance, laughing, enjoying the moment and simply being Jo.

Jo may have left Home from Home a couple of years ago, but she was never forgotten. The friendships she made, the laughter she shared and the memories we created together have stayed with us.

We feel so lucky to have known Jo and to have been part of her life. She brought so much warmth and happiness to our days, and we will always remember her with a smile.

Sending all our love and deepest condolences to Jo’s family, her friends and everyone at Cambridge Court Care Home.

Rest peacefully, beautiful Jo. Keep dancing
