Father’s Day is more than a celebration of fathers. It’s a moment to honour all the men who shape our families, communities and future.

Fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sons, mentors, uncles and father figures—those who provide, protect, guide and stand in the gap when they are needed most.

We also recognise that many men carry silent battles. Pressure, grief, anxiety and loneliness are often hidden behind strength. No man is meant to carry it all alone.

At The Liverpool Ark Discovery Centre, we believe in brotherhood—men standing with men, encouraging, supporting and speaking up when life gets heavy. And where needed, we help signpost to counselling and support services.

Strong men build strong families. Strong families build strong communities.

Looking for an affordable and engaging summer activity for your children?

The Liverpool Ark Discovery Centre Summer Camp is back for 2026, running from 27th July to 20th August for children aged 5–13.

For just £20 per child per week, children will enjoy four weeks of:
• Sports and games
• Arts and crafts
• Creative hobbies and activities
• Team-building and character development sessions
• Opportunities to make new friends and build confidence

Monday–Thursday | 9am–3pm

All staff and volunteers are DBS checked, and First Aid trained.

Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Many men face challenges with stress, anxiety, loneliness, grief, work pressures, family responsibilities, and life's unexpected struggles. Yet too often, they suffer in silence.

This month, we're encouraging men to talk, connect, and prioritise their wellbeing.

At The Liverpool Ark Discovery Centre, we believe community matters. Whether it's through sports, volunteering, training opportunities, community events, or simply meeting new people, there are ways to build meaningful connections and support one another.

Ask how someone is really doing.
