🚴‍♀️ Women on Bikes – Friday 8th October 2026 🚴‍♀️

A lovely 6-mile ride to the Anglican Cathedral, followed by a well-deserved stop at the Squash Café for a hot drink ☕️.

We had 13 people attend, including 6 fantastic ride leaders! A big thank you to everyone who took part and, especially, to our wonderful ride leaders for all their hard work, commitment and dedication. 💗 Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Cycling UK North West England Cycling UK's Women in Cycling Aigburth Community Cycle Club Cycle Sisters Women On Bikes Liverpool @

🚲☕💚 WOMEN ON BIKES – A SPECIAL RIDE! 💚☕🚲

Last Friday, 25th September, we enjoyed a lovely 6-mile ride to East Wavertree Tennis Club for the Macmillan Coffee Morning.

There was plenty of cycling, coffee, cake and fantastic company — and we had an extra reason to celebrate… 🎉🎂

It was our wonderful ride leader Christine’s birthday!

A huge Happy Birthday, Christine! 🎂💐 Thank you for leading us and helping make our rides so enjoyable. We hope you had a fantastic birthday and enjoyed celebrating with the Women on Bikes crew! 🚴‍♀️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped support such a great cause. ☕🍰

Great ride, great company and a very special birthday celebration! 🎉🚲

Wednesday morning’s Learn to Ride session went really well, even though it was a rainy day.

We welcomed three new women who joined us to learn, and they’re all doing really well. It’s fantastic to see their confidence growing and to support them as they get started on their cycling journey.

Well done, ladies—keep going! Liverpool City Region Combined Authority
