Ted 10years old who helps during half term in our Foodbank is walking 150 miles along the North Wales coastal path to raise money for the Foodbank.

He has completed 3 of his walks so far
Chester to Flint. 14 miles
Flint to Prestatyn. 19 miles
Prestatyn to Colwyn Bay 15 miles

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at a foodbank? 🤔

Here at North Liverpool Foodbank, we run nine centres across our communities which means a LOT of work goes on behind the scenes to ensure every centre remains stocked and supporting some of the most disadvantaged people in the city 📦

Every single donation is weighed in, and then date sorted by our team of warehouse volunteers to ensure that food doesn't go out of date and to minimise food waste across the operation. After a busy foodbank session, centres will send our team an order of the items they need and this is picked, packed and delivered directly to them before they are next open 🚛
