You may have seen that we’ve had a pretty wonderful week! All of our usual activities have continued as well as some special additions! Our Kindness Rocks sports day was fun of fun, sunshine and smiles, followed by our very own concert in Liverpool ONE with Jade’s piano for the Tickle The Ivories art trail!
With our wonderful coach Joe on the keys, our group performed 3 songs that they had also learned to sign, displaying our commitment to inclusion. Everyone was fantastic and were so proud of them! The whole video is over on our YouTube but we thought we would share some highlights also 💜 enjoy!

A big thank you as always to all of our support staff and especially Sarah for helping our group smash this performance!

Our young people have been practicing for weeks for this and today was the day of their performance at Liverpool ONE with the piano that our own Jade designed, Coach Joe providing the soundtrack and our Sarah directing the group. A big thank you to everyone who helped to make this happy and a massive well done to our EPIC group who continue to break stigmas while spreading awareness and joy to our city 💜

🎹 Join EPIC at Liverpool ONE today! 💜

We’re so excited to be bringing our EPIC Sing & Sign Along to the iconic Sugar Steps at Liverpool ONE, celebrating music, community and inclusion.

We’ll be performing around our very own Jade’s piano that she created for Liverpool One’s Tickle The Ivories project with our Coach Joe supporting on the piano!

Whether you’d like to sing along, learn a few signs, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, we’d love to see you there.

Today we had our annual Kindness Rocks sports day!
With the wonderful Sheryl, Joe and Katy our group had a brilliant day of teamwork, kindness and fun. Thank you again for such a wonderful day and one we look forward to every year! 💜

☀️ What a gorgeous sunny week we’ve had in EPIC! ☀️

Monday we made a great start on our second mural with. Crown Paints followed by karate with Malvern Karate

Tuesday we tried our hand at making home made lava lamps and practiced our sing and signing! 🎶

Wednesday we made and decorated cheesecakes, visited St Aidans with All Saints Speke⛪️ followed by basketball 🏀

Thursday we got the paint brushes out again, tried some new techniques in karate with Malvern shotokan Karate Club and spent time in the garden, look at our strawberries! 🍓

A huge thank you to Gill and the team at Colas LTD for putting social value into action 🙌

Over 4 days, their team of 3 worked incredibly hard to completely transform our garden space at EPIC Social Care CIC. What was once limited and difficult to use is now clear, organised and genuinely inviting 🌿

But the biggest impact? They moved the fence… and we’ve now got twice the space!

This isn’t just a tidy-up job - this is creating real opportunity. It means we can grow our environmental projects, offer more hands on activities and ultimately support more young adults with autism and learning disabilities in a space that works for them.

This is what meaningful social value looks like, lasting change that benefits people and community long after the work is done.
