What a productive day in Crossfield Estates!

Planting our new garden, it’s already bringing life to the area 🪴. Tidying up the Tunnel road/Wavertree road junction, now looking spotless! Massive shout‑out to our Friends Group and Universal Pentecostal Church for smashing it in hot condition. Fantastic effort with community spirit 💚🌱.

Today morning I have visited Wavertree Botanic Park and great to see it is clean! However, with high visitor numbers and irresponsible littering, the big question is: how long will it stay this way? I did two litter-picking sessions last week with the Friends group and Litter Clear - Volunteer team. While it's great that crews are working regularly and the community is stepping up, however, need a sustainable solution. I am requesting consistent monitoring, and strict enforcement from the council as a last resort. Ofcourse we must ignore who advocating aganist enforcement. If we stop the littering, we won't need to keep asking for clean-ups. Prevention is better than cure. 💚🌴

Team Labour were out doorknocking around Gladstone Road, Dorothy Drive and Royston Street patch in Edge Hill L7. Picked up several casework issues, like parking, empty home, short‑term lets etc. Happy to meet and greet with many residents.
