Winter is still with us and the nights are very cold. Please call us if you see anyone sleeping rough in Liverpool. Our outreach team is out 24 hours, encouraging everyone to come indoors.

Some pictures from our back to back nights in Liverpool City Centre - helping to give those in need a hot meal, warm clothing and someone to talk to💜

On Sunday and Monday our amazing volunteers were out twice, and we can’t thank them enough for their time and effort👏🏼

Big thanks to the team, and to those who cooked hot meals and made butties for us to give out. Thanks to Greggs for the unsold food donations, and to anyone who donated money to us during both nights - this will be used to buy more essential items for those in need💜

Our 1st Monday night service of 2023👏🏼

A smaller group than usual, but it was a busy night (sadly) for the team …

Lots of hot food given out - thanks to Tony & Christine for the meals - as well as butties, snacks, warm clothing and hot drinks

Big thanks from everyone at Reaching Out Liverpool to all our volunteers for their time and effort week in week out during 2022 (and for last night) and thanks to everyone who has supported us/donated/etc to our group as well 💜💜💜

Our 71st mobile service happened last night … and it was the coldest one yet

Thankfully it was quieter than it has been over the last few weeks/months. We are hoping that our friends had found somewhere warm to go as it was bitterly cold

We managed to provide sleeping bags, warm clothing, hot food & drinks to those we did see

Big thanks to those who cooked hot meals for us last night - these were especially needed (we had Xmas dinners, Sausage & mash and Chicken curry on offer)

Thanks to those who donated to us as we did our route - this money will be put back into the group to help us buy more warm clothing (socks, hats, gloves, etc)

And a huge thanks to our amazing volunteers. It wasn’t easy being out in that weather, but they turned up in numbers and helped make peoples nights a little bit better

As it is so cold, if you do see anyone in need of help or a hot drink then please help if you can. A small act of kindness really can help anybody

Everyone who buys a candle or gift set from Pure Bliss this November will be making a donation to Reaching Out Liverpool
This group of volunteers do a route around the city centre every Monday evening giving out food and clothing to the homeless of our city.

They rely solely on donations and fundraising so I chose to donate £1 from every sale during my busiest month of the year because they do amazing work and I want to help them continue.

I love to see these great people in Liverpool, they see others in need and do something about it 👏🏻

Today is the 1 year anniversary of Reaching Out Liverpool 💜

A few like minded people came together and decided to continue the work we had done as individuals and form an outreach group. We wanted to help as many people as we could in Liverpool City Centre, and over the last year we have helped a huge amount of people have a better night

We have been out with our mobile service over 60 times, and have given out at least 2,500 hot meals … as well as warm clothing, snacks, toiletries and countless hot drinks

As it’s our anniversary we wanted to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers - both past and present. A huge thank you also to anyone who has supported us along the way - from those who’ve cooked hot meals for us to give out, people who have helped organise and participate in one of our fundraisers, anyone who has donated money or clothing to us, and anyone who has given up their precious time by helping others … We wouldn’t have lasted 1 week never mind 1 year without all the support we have received

Whilst the ultimate aim is for us to never have to do this - imagine living in a country that supports those at the bottom - if the need is there, we will continue to help where we can

Big shout out to all the other outreach groups who provide services in Liverpool City Centre, and to all the other charities and community groups in the area who work tirelessly to provide support to a huge range of issues within the city

We are doing this to raise much needed funds to continue our work around homelessness in Liverpool
