🪿 Wild Goose Chase Challenge! ⛺🔥

This week our Scouts took on a Wild Goose Chase with one mission: complete as many of the 20 challenges as possible in just one hour!

From creative tasks to teamwork challenges and plenty of running around, it was a fast-paced evening full of problem-solving, determination and lots of laughs.

The clock was ticking... but our Scouts were up for the challenge! ⏱️👏

🚴 Cycle Week came to Cubs! 🚴

Our Cubs worked towards their Cyclist Badge this week, putting their biking skills to the test and learning how to keep their bikes in good working order 🐺🔧

From safety checks to riding skills, they showed great confidence and determination throughout the evening.

A fantastic night on two wheels! 🚲✨

Our Beavers put their biking skills to the test this week as they worked towards their Cyclist Badge 🦫✨

From showing off their riding abilities to learning how to keep their bikes safe and in good working order, it was a wheel-y good evening! 🚲🔧

A fantastic session learning skills that will help keep them confident and safe on two wheels 👏

🐻 If you go down in the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise... 🐻

Today's the day the Squirrels had a teddy bears' picnic! 🐿️🧺

We made our own sandwiches, enjoyed a picnic with our teddy bears, and then headed off on a bear hunt through the woods 👀🌳

💜 Volunteers' Week 💜

A special shoutout to our Young Leaders and young volunteers 🌟

Did you know that some of the volunteers helping to run our sections are still young people themselves?

Our Young Leaders give up their evenings to help plan activities, run games, support younger members and be brilliant role models across our group. Alongside school, college, work, hobbies and their own Scout sections, they choose to spend their time helping others grow and succeed.

From leading activities and helping at camps to encouraging nervous new starters and celebrating achievements, they make a huge difference every single week.

This Volunteers' Week, we'd like to say a massive thank you to all of our young volunteers. Your enthusiasm, energy and commitment help make Scouting the incredible place it is. 💛

You might be the leaders of tomorrow, but you're making a difference today.

💜 Volunteers' Week 💜

Did you know that every adult in our unit is a volunteer?

From Squirrels 🐿️ to Beavers 🦫, Cubs 🐺, Scouts ⛺ and Explorers 🔥, every meeting, camp, activity and adventure is planned and delivered by volunteers giving their time to help young people thrive.

Outside of Scouts, our volunteers are teachers, retail workers, students, office workers, parents, healthcare staff and more. We all have our own day jobs and commitments, but choose to spend our spare time creating opportunities for young people.

This Volunteers' Week, we'd like to say a huge thank you to every volunteer who gives their time, energy and enthusiasm to make 280th Liverpool North possible. 💛

The Cubs successfully completed their Emergency Aid Stage 1 badge tonight! 🚑🐺

They learned some important life-saving skills, including how to apply bandages, put someone in the recovery position, and recognise the signs of shock.

A huge well done to all the Cubs for their enthusiasm and effort throughout the evening 👏
