🦇 BAT WALK AT ST JAMES’ GARDEN 🦇

Join Liverpool City Council Parks and the Friends of St James’ Gardens for a special evening Bat Walk through one of Liverpool’s most atmospheric historic green spaces. 🌳🌙

📅 Tuesday 1st September
🕢 7.30pm – 9.00pm
📍 Meet at St James Road Gates, off Upper Parliament Street
🎟️ FREE – maximum 25 places

As dusk falls, discover more about the bats that live and feed around St James’ Garden and experience the cemetery in a completely different way. 🦇✨

Booking is essential as places are free but limited.

🔗 Book via Eventbrite using the link or QR code on the poster.

A few things to remember:

🐕 No dogs please
🥾 Dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear
🦟 Consider bringing insect repellent
👨‍👩‍👧 Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult

🌧️ In the event of high winds and/or heavy rain, the walk may be cancelled for safety reasons.

We’re aware that the Huskisson memorial has been vandalised with graffiti and this has been reported to the police and all relevant departments of Liverpool City Council. While we work to help get it removed as a priority, please enjoy this lesser seen view of the inside of the monument’s dome!

Huge thanks to the Friend’s of St James’ Garden & the AMAZING for contributing to the up-keep of this great green lung 🫁 🌳 ♥️ Fab session with Good Gym. We did some weeding, varnished two benches and did a mammoth litter pick. Thanks all round also to Richard and Hadi 💚 We go again on the 10th August!
