MPAC May Workshops - Music Production and Podcasting
Hi hope you’re well.
I’m reaching out to share an exciting opportunity for your youth group during the
upcoming May half-term. MPAC is offering creative workshop sessions in music
production and podcasting — designed to inspire, empower, and give young people
a platform to express themselves.
At MPAC, we’re passionate about nurturing creativity and building confidence in
young people across Liverpool. Our experienced team, trained to work inclusively
with all young people, provides a welcoming and supportive environment for learning
and exploration.
These workshops have been running successfully for the past 3 years, and have
been enjoyed by many children across the city.
Our team members are all safeguarding, DBS, first aid and additional needs trained,
ensuring a safe, inclusive and professional experience for all participants.
Music Production Workshops:
Participants will gain a hands-on introduction to Studio One music software —
learning how to:
• Start, stop and edit tracks
• Record vocals and instruments
• Create original music in their own unique style
Each young person will leave with a copy of their track and a certificate of
participation.
Podcasting Workshops:
Young people will learn how to set up and use:
• Podcasting equipment including cameras, microphones, lighting, and
backdrops
• Explore topics that matter to them, such as the environment, social media,
and current affairs
• Develop their voice, communication skills, and confidence
These sessions are fun, educational and supportive — a great way for young people
to express themselves in a safe and creative space.
Whether your goal is to support extracurricular learning, media skill-building,
or personal development, MPAC is here to help.
