Liverpool Babies Public & Patient Involvement/Engagement in Research
We have recently set up a new Public & Patient Involvement/Engagement Group for women and their partners called ‘Liverpool Babies’. The group is established within the Harris-Wellbeing Research Centre at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, University of Liverpool and is located at the Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
The purpose of the Group is for women and their families to help support the activities, interests and advancement of women’s research in pregnancy and beyond. This includes contributing and advising on any future research studies/initiatives and research priorities for the Harris-Wellbeing Centre. The Group is supported by the Research Midwives at Liverpool Women’s Hospital and by two ladies who have previously received treatment during pregnancy at Liverpool Women’s Hospital and participated in research. We will be encouraging anyone who would like to get involved or have any questions, to contact us for additional information.
