Great session today for our Men’s Boxwell group.

We had such a lovely session yesterday with a wonderful group of children! 💛

A huge thank you to Food For Thought Merseyside Ltd (Not-For-Profit) for joining us and delivering a fantastic food session. The children got hands-on and made delicious halloumi pitta breads, preparing and chopping all of their own ingredients and filling them with a selection of yummy vegetables. 🥙🥕🥒

And for dessert… fruit kebabs! 🍓🍇🍍 Once again, the children prepared and cut their own fruit, making something healthy, colourful and delicious. 🌈

A massive thank you to all the children who joined us, and to their parents and guardians for supporting them to attend. It really was a wonderful day, and we loved seeing the children getting involved, trying new things and having fun together. ❤️

We also want to say a HUGE thank you to Jamie Carragher 📸 The23Foundation and Community Foundations for Lancashire & Merseyside. 🙌

Without your support, our children’s group simply would not be possible.

Our group is intentionally limited to just 10 children to provide a smaller, more supportive environment for children who can struggle in larger group settings. Unfortunately, keeping the group small can also create barriers when it comes to accessing funding.

That’s why we are incredibly grateful to the 23 Foundation and Community Foundation for recognising the importance of this provision and supporting us to continue running our group this summer. 🌟

Thank you for helping us create a space where children can feel comfortable, included, learn new skills and, most importantly, have fun! 💛

✨ Antique & Vintage Items for Sale✨

We have three lovely pieces looking for a new home:

🪑 **2 Edwardian chairs** – beautiful period pieces dating from the Edwardian era.
🛏️ Vintage cot with mattress - mattress would be for material and it is advised not to reuse old mattress for babies.

We would be happy to consider **sensible offers for all three items together**.

We have just a few spaces remaining for our **NBIL Kids Club**! 🎉💙

👧🧒 Ages 5–10**
✨ No benefit-related eligibility criteria

Thanks to the amazing support of the 23 Foundation and JD Foundation, we’re able to make these places available to families without benefit criteria. 🙌

⚠️ **Spaces are very limited and this is a small-group session.** Please only book if you’re confident your child can attend, so that every available place can be enjoyed by a child who is able to take part.

🚧 Important reminder – our new premises
We kindly ask everyone not to enter our new premises next door. The building is not yet open to the public as we are still carrying out work and getting everything ready.

We have unfortunately had a number of people entering the premises, which is causing delays for our team and also creates health and safety concerns while work is ongoing.

Please be aware that nothing inside the new premises is currently available or for sale, so there is no need to enter the building or enquire with our staff about anything inside.

We completely understand that people are curious and excited to see our new space, and we really appreciate your patience while we get everything ready. ❤️

Please wait until we officially announce that the premises are open before entering.

Don't forget Helen is here Wednesday with bargain haircuts. Plus we have the mobile food pantry from New Beginnings - Improving Lives CIC about 10.30am.
Then you can come i Halle's and join the bargain hunters on our last BOGOF day before we close for our summer break.
Me and the girls stayed behind till 7pm to refill about 500 hangers so there's all new stuff for tomorrow.

Really pleased to see New Beginnings - Improving Lives CIC will be opening another shop next door to the community store on Rocky Lane for pre loved items. A real welcome edition needed in parts of Tuebrook Breckside Park Ward.
