IntoUniversity North Liverpool/Kirkby is looking for university students, like you, to become a mentor for a local young person!

IntoUniversity North Liverpool/Kirkby is an education charity partnered with the University of Liverpool.

They have a fantastic volunteer opportunity for University of Liverpool students only.

Who are IntoUniveristy?
The IntoUniversity North Liverpool/Kirkby offers an innovative programme to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration.

How can I help?
Support a young person (10–17) with weekly 1:1 mentoring. Build confidence, encourage learning, and enjoy simple activities like baking or board games. Meet in person at our North Liverpool/Kirkby Centre, with online follow ups if needed.

What can you expect from IntoUniveristy?
- Full training in advance of beginning your role and ongoing support and training opportunities from IntoUniversity staff.
- The chance to develop valuable new skills and gain experience working with young people.
- The opportunity to use IntoUniversity as a referee following 8-hours of volunteering.
- Recognition through the IntoUniversity accreditation scheme. What do we expect from you?

What do IntroUniversity expect from you?
- Commitment to the role and to providing the best support possible to your Mentee over a minimum of 5 individual meetings.
- Enthusiasm and a proactive approach.
- The ability to build a positive relationship with a young person.
