People’s Emergency Briefing 🎥 Experts outline the threats posed by climate change to our food supply, infrastructure, health, economy and national security.

Afterwards there will be a discussion about the implications for our communities, and solutions that are possible through collective action.

A big win! ⚡️Our Great Gas Rip-Off campaign secured a major breakthrough by pushing the government to adopt a new policy delinking gas and electricity prices.

Local elections 🗳️ While the local elections revealed a challenging political landscape, they also showed that support for climate
action remains strong across the UK. Labour lost almost four times as many voters to the Greens than to Reform!

Fight the far right online 💻 We’re piloting a new organising project to counter climate
misinformation and disinformation online

Merseyside MPs 🙋‍♀️ We’ll be meeting local MPs to ask them to support our gas campaign. If you support us, sign a postcard to your MP and we’ll deliver it to them.

A big win! ⚡️Our Great Gas Rip-Off campaign secured a major breakthrough by pushing the government to adopt a new policy delinking gas and electricity prices.

Paula was very welcoming and listened to our concerns about the climate and energy costs.
📺 She has signed the petition calling on the Government to arrange a national televised screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing.
🇵🇸 She has condemned the attack on the Sumud Flotilla taking aid to Gaza and asked for support for the boycott of Israeli settlement goods.

Thanks to all who stopped by our stall at Cool Heswall! We met lots of lovely people who cared about climate and nature just as much as we do 💫

We also collected messages for local MPs about decoupling the electricity price from the price of gas and bringing down our electricity bills! (About time!)
