🎬🍿 NEW ARTWORK UNVEILED AT PORT SUNLIGHT STATION! 🚉❤️

We’re really proud to unveil a fantastic new piece of artwork at Port Sunlight Station in partnership with our friends at Snips Movies 🎥🎞️

The artwork was created by local artist Garrett Gibson! 👏

Snips is one of just two video rental stores left in the UK and one of only a handful remaining anywhere in the world. To have such a unique independent business right here in Bebington is something worth celebrating, and we’re delighted to help shine a spotlight on it for the thousands of passengers who pass through the station each week.

Dave has supported Love Bebington from day one. Over the years, he and the wonderful customers of Snips have helped raise funds for our projects through collection tins in the shop, and we’d like to say a huge thank you for all of your support over the last three years. It really does make a difference. 🙏

This is just the latest step in our plans for Port Sunlight Station. Over the coming weeks and months we’ll be unveiling more artwork, new planters sponsored by more incredible local businesses and further improvements to help make the station a place that reflects the creativity, heritage and community spirit of our area. Watch this space! 👀

We had a great afternoon at Liverpool Central Station today helping showcase Merseyrail in Bloom on what is 🌼🌷🚉

It was great to meet so many commuters from all across the Merseyrail network and to share our story with them. It’s only with the help of Merseyrail and the support of its commuters that we’ve been able to establish the Love Our Railways initiative and that we’re able to do the work that we do at the stations. 💛

We helped giveaway lots of fantastic Merseyrail merchandise and it was so lovely to hear the lovely comments from everyone about our work.

🌿🚉 We’re very proud to announce that Port Sunlight Station is now the latest station to be adopted under the Love Our Railways banner in partnership with Merseyrail!

This is a really exciting addition for us, with the station sitting at the heart of the beautiful and historic village of Port Sunlight — a place enjoyed by residents and visitors all year round.

We’re also delighted to be working alongside station staff John and Sumo, who have cared for the foyer planters for many years and helped keep the station looking so welcoming. We’re looking forward to building on the great work already being done there and seeing what we can achieve together. 🌸

As with our other station projects, we’ll be installing floral planters and community artwork to brighten the station and celebrate local pride. We’re especially excited to work with local artists, schools and community organisations to create artwork that reflects the unique character and history of Port Sunlight.

Our aim is to establish a dedicated ‘Love Port Sunlight Station’ volunteer team to help care for the station planters. In the meantime, the Love Bebington team will be supporting the station while we grow a local volunteer group.

It was a privilege to attend the Community Rail Awards 2026 in Derby last night! 🏆🚉

Love Bebington were proud to pick up two awards for our work at both Bebington and Spital Stations! This is national recognition of our work and we feel honoured to have been recognised. A special mention to our Lynn, who leads our work at Spital Station. Lynn works tirelessly and volunteers so much of her time to care of the planters at Spital Station. We would not have received this recognition without her incredible work. 🙏

A huge congratulations to all the winners at last night’s ceremony it was a fantastic evening and a massive thank you to Merseyrail, Community Rail Network and all of our sponsors for all of your support! We could not do any of this without you! ❤️

🚉 Some exciting news to bring you…

As many of you know, over a year ago we announced the launch of ‘Love Our Railways’. Over the past 2 years Love Our Railways has grown under the umbrella of Love Bebington, adopting stations along the Wirral line with our amazing partners at Merseyrail. From Bebington, Spital, and Rock Ferry—to our newest adoption, Bromborough—we’ve been busy making stations brighter, greener, and more welcoming. And guess what? More stations will be joining the family very soon! 🌿✨

We’re excited to announce that all our station projects will now officially be under the Love Our Railways banner! Don’t worry, Love Bebington will continue leading the community work at both Bebington and Spital, while new volunteer groups will be established to care for our other station adoptions. Recruitment for these groups is already underway—so there’s plenty of opportunities to get involved.

💚 Our mission is simple:
* Beautify local stations with planters, community artwork, and creativity
* Promote greener travel across the region
* Support local and independent businesses
