Two of our fantastic leaders run the archeology squad for Cambridgeshire county scouts and have worked hard to run this event.

Littleport Scouts is a charity and as such we have to have a group of Trustees in order to operate. Our Chairperson has done an incredible job overseeing our friendly group of trustees for the last few years but has informed us that she will be stepping down soon. We would like to wish her all the best for the future and are now looking for someone to help support our trustee board so we can continue to provide a great group for our local children to attend.

Attached is our advert for the role with hopefully all the information you should need. If you feel you could help or know anyone that could please do get in contact for more information. We are holding our next Trustee meeting on Thursday 29th January at 7.30 in the Scout Hut and we would welcome anyone with an interest in supporting the group to attend to get a feel for what's involved. Our current Chairperson will also provide a full handover to her replacement so you would be fully supported in taking on the role.

Please do let me know if you have any questions and do consider volunteering just a small amount of your time to support our wonderful group. Ultimately our charity cannot run without a Chairperson so even if you cannot help directly, please do share this with local friends and family.

Looking for something to do in Sunday with the children why not come along to our Christmas Craft Extravaganza, let the children take part in the crafts whil you sit back and enjoy the refreshments. Pop in any time between 11am-3pm crafts individually priced or buy a pack for £10.

This marks 1st Littleport Harley Scouts 1st birthday, over the year we have had lots of fun been on many adventures, sleepover, made new friends and achieved many badges.

I can't say it any better than this young person ❤️

We are selling the fantastic lego poppy's made by our young people.

Every poppy sold £1 will go to the Littleport branch of the Royal British Legion.

The profit will goes towards our group camp.

Good afternoon

I hope you've had a lovely break. Just a quick update to let you know some dates for your diary:

Thursday 4th September - Scout Trustee Meeting at 7.30pm. We will be discussing fundraising for next years group camp and would love parental involvement to ensure we are doing things in the most efficient manner. Refreshments and good company are on offer all we ask is a couple of hours of your time!

Saturday 6th September - Back To School Disco - Details will be emailed through OSM shortly - please come along, have some fun and help us raise funds for our exciting group camp next year.

Week Commencing 8th September - sessions begin on normal evenings.
