What’s an Almshouse? That’s a question I get asked a lot. We are a part of a tradition of charitable housing that goes back for years - hundreds of them. They are independent homes, not care homes. Littleport weather! ☔️💧🌂🌞⛅️😎 One minute you’re eating cakes at the Feoffees Hall coffee morning and going out into the sun, the next time you’re being battered by hail as you put your cake tins into your car! Thats the price you pay for being the vice-chair! 🤣

The Littleport Society were out and about today at Littleport Leisure Centre! They don’t just use Feoffees Hall. If you are interested in joining them please look at their posters for contact details, there is always something new to talk about in Littleport!😁📚📓

New Magic boxes! Grab a box of fresh produce for a fraction of the price, instead of it being thrown away! I've just met the lovely lady and she has said that if a lot of people are interested in and around the Ely and Littleport area, she can deliver for free. You can't go wrong for a fiver, give it a try! Also she can get hold of microwave meals and frozen food too so please either phone her on 07346812960 or email info@the ruralplateproject.co.uk. Don't forget she can deliver so if you can't get out and about you can still get food. The photo is the box she kindly delivered to me today, so it's real.
