The Playcentre Nursery provides a high standard of physical, emotional, spiritual, social and intellectual care for children through a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities. PlayCentre Nursery takes children from 2 to 5 years old, when they start school. We are open from 9am to 4pm in school Term Time, for a maximum of 42 children at a time. Children are usually alloc

ated a mixture of different sessions throughout the week depending on availability. We are part of Arun Church () and provide teaching, learning and support that is sympathetic to the Christian faith.

We have had so much fun over the last two weeks, finally enjoying some sunshine! This has meant car washes in the garden and lots of time exploring our new canopy and outdoor areas within the setting. ☀️🚗

We have loved every minute of watching our ducks grow, from seeing them hatch, taking them for little swims, and watching them get bigger each day. 🦆

The big question now is… what animal shall we get next? 🐾

Today we’re saying see you soon to our amazing Katie, who’s off to have her baby girl 💕 We’ll miss her so much, but we can’t wait to welcome another little one into the Playcentre family! 👶✨

This term has been packed with fun! From autumn crafts to rainy days, sunny days, and everything in between 🍂☔️🌞

That was an emotional one! 💛

Today we said goodbye to our amazing school leavers as they head off on their next big adventure. ✨ We celebrated together, laughed together (had a few tears), and of course had one last big dance to Danny Go! 💃🕺

A HUGE well done to our incredible Playcentre team – your love, energy, and dedication have been amazing this year. We couldn’t have done it without you. 🌟👏

To all our wonderful parents, thank you so much for the chocolates, gifts, and vouchers. Your kindness means the world to us. We’re so grateful to have been a part of your child’s journey – it’s been a privilege watching them grow. ❤️

Feeling all the emotions as we head into the final week of term. 💛 This part never gets easier, saying goodbye to our wonderful school leavers is hands down the hardest part of what we do.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been soaking up every precious moment with them. We even threw our very own Playcentre Festival, think Glastonbury, but for little ones! 🎪 Muddy boots, ice cream parlour, drink stations, friendship bracelets… you name it, we had it!

Here comes the last week, ready for an emotional, joy-filled ride. 🥹💫
