4th Littlehampton Scout Group

🐿️ Today we had a fun afternoon celebrating the Squirrels 5th Birthday and 2 years of our own drey.

Our Squirrels got crafty making lots of squirrel themed creations and they also stuffed and named their own bears and even invested them with a teddy size Scout scarf. 🧸

Everyone had a go on the bouldering wall, tried soft archery and soft tomahawk.

And of course, no celebration would be complete without cake! 🎂

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out today. We couldn’t have done it without you!

🎆 SCOUT & PROUD - LITTLEHAMPTON BONFIRE PARADE 2026! 🎆

Just a little update on the Bonfire Parade!

We’ve had a really good response so far from people wanting to join us, which is brilliant! 💜 But we want to get as much of the District there as possible, so please keep spreading the word and getting your Groups involved!

We’ve also had some more information from the Bonfire Committee, so we wanted to remind everyone what we’re going for...

🌈 Think COLOURFUL. Think BRIGHT. Think LIGHTS! ✨

We want our Scout section of the parade to really stand out, so get creative with:

🧣 Group hoodies, scarves and section jumpers
🌈 Rainbow accessories
✨ Glow sticks
💡 Fairy lights
🎨 Colourful face paint
🎆 Anything bright, colourful and fun!

Please don't wear Halloween or ghost costumes - this isn't a Halloween theme. We want to keep it about Scouting, being welcoming and inclusive, and showing Littlehampton what a brilliant Scout community we have. ⚜️💜

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Everyone is welcome!
Scouts, Explorers, Network, leaders, volunteers, parents, carers, siblings and families. You don't have to be a leader or a young person to come along!

We're all from different Groups, but on the night we're one District. The more of us there are, the better it will be!

This week we welcomed Ben Cavanagh to chat to our Cubs and Scouts about the Pride in Place funding for Wick & Toddington.
Our young people had the opportunity to share their ideas about how our community could be improved and what they would like to see in the area in the future
They had some very creative ideas and it was brilliant to see our Cubs and Scouts getting involved.
A huge thank you to Ben for taking the time to speak with our young people and for listening to their ideas💡💭🏡

It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

For the first time in many years, our Scouts are heading off to summer camp with some company! 🌲🏕️

We're delighted to be joined by 4th Littlehampton Scout Group for what promises to be an unforgettable week in Bursledon.

A huge thank you to Jo and the team for making this happen and for giving up a week of their time to create incredible experiences for our young people. It's about so much more than – it's about friendship, adventure and creating a true . ⚜️🏕️
