Nominations are officially CLOSED for the Global Youth Awards 2026.

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated a young person this year, and to all the incredible young people who put themselves forward.

We’ve now entered the next stage of the Awards journey, sending nominations out to our brilliant panel of youth judges.

There are so many inspiring young people and stories to discover, and we can’t wait to start sharing more with you.

Happy International Youth Day! 🌍

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible young people who make up the Legacy Project community, our Global Change Ambassadors, Global Youth Awards winners and finalists, youth leaders, changemakers, creatives, advocates, entrepreneurs and every young person who is taking steps to make a difference.

We’re constantly inspired by the ideas, courage and determination of young people around the world. From grassroots projects and environmental action to education, creativity, leadership and advocacy, young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow, you are creating change today.

We’re excited to share that Global Change Ambassador Aarna V. is launching the Rising Researchers Workshop through the Mini Hub on 10th August!

A fast-paced, interactive session designed to help curious young minds turn the problems they notice in the world into meaningful research ideas.

This hands-on workshop is designed for ages 8–14 and encourages creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and responsible use of AI as a learning and research tool.

Participants will leave with:

A research question they genuinely care about

A simple research plan they’ve designed themselves

Confidence using AI responsibly as a thinking and exploration tool

No coding or advanced experience needed, just curiosity, creativity, and big ideas!

Recommended for Ages 8–14

This workshop aligns beautifully with our mission at Legacy Project: empowering young people to think critically, explore solutions, and create meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

A huge congratulations to Global Change Ambassador Lucile Morehouse on this incredible achievement!

Governor Kevin Stitt has officially signed the Lucile Morehouse Pollinator Act into law, recognising the vital role that pollinators and other beneficial insects play in protecting biodiversity, supporting agriculture, and strengthening our ecosystems.
