Thatโ€™s a wrap! The Upper Erne Predator Challenge has come to a close for another year โ€” and what a competition itโ€™s been.

With a record entry, bookings were capped at 60 boats, and the ever-growing popularity of the event saw the prize fund extended all the way down to 20th place โ€” a fantastic boost for competitors.

๐Ÿ† Darren Connolly stormed to victory, taking home the ยฃ2000 first prize after landing a magnificent 114.5cm Lough Erne pike just over an hour into Day Two โ€” an incredible fish that proved unbeatable.

With improved weather conditions, anglers knew they needed fish of 87cm+ to challenge for the leaderboard. The standard was set and more than 25 fish above this mark were landed.

๐Ÿฅˆ Cormac Hanna secured second place (ยฃ1000) with a superb 105cm pike, landed in the early afternoon.
๐Ÿฅ‰ Dean Connolly claimed third place, landing a slightly smaller fish with just under an hour to go โ€” a strong finish in a tightly contested field.

๐Ÿ‘ A special mention also goes to Junior competitor Brandon Gleeson, who landed an outstanding 98cm fish โ€” a fantastic achievement and certainly one to watch for the future.

๐Ÿ… In addition to the cash prizes, the Top 3 anglers also received tackle prizes, kindly sponsored by David Burleigh of Apex Fishing Tackle

A huge thank you goes to the team at Share Discovery Village, and to Joe McDermott, plus of course Robert & Ryan of the Upper Lough Erne Anglers Club, for their efficient organisation and smooth running of the event.

Now in its 13th year, the competition continues to go from strength to strength โ€” a testament to the anglers, organisers, and supporters who make it all possible.

๐Ÿ‘ Well done to everyone who took part โ€” weโ€™ll see you all again next year!

Attention anglers..

we have a limited amount of tickets added on to the ticket tailor registration page but once these ones are gone thatโ€™s it!!

Donโ€™t forget this is a pair event so you canโ€™t compete alone Iโ€™m afraid for fish safety reasons. Needs to be two people in a boat.

Thank you ๐ŸŽฃ
