Funeral arrangements for Kathleen Breen are scheduled as follows:

Departure from Home: Her remains will leave her residence in

Carrowshee Park

tomorrow morning, Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.

Funeral Mass: The service will take place at 11:00 a.m. at

Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea

Guard of Honour: Committee members and volunteers past & present are invited to stand out and join the guard of honour as she arrives at Holy cross

Burial: Following the Mass, she will be laid to rest in

St. Mary’s Cemetery, Maguiresbridge

Live Stream: For those unable to attend in person, the funeral Mass can be viewed live via Holy Cross Church Services.

It is with profound sadness and deep shock that the Carrowshee Park & Sylvan Hill Community Association shares the news of the passing of our esteemed Secretary and dear friend, Kathleen Breen.
Kathleen has been a pillar of our community in every sense of the word. Having been involved with the Association since its very formation 25 years ago, she was the backbone of our organization. As our dedicated Secretary, she managed all paperwork and administration that kept our community moving. Applying for grants, attending meetings always with unwavering commitment and passion.
Beyond her role, Kathleen was a friend to us all. She had a remarkable gift for making time for everyone she met, and her devotion to her voluntary work was unmatched. Her absence will leave a void that will be felt by every resident and member of the Carrosyl family.
We extend our deepest condolences to Kathleen’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you, Kathleen, for 25 years of service, heart, and dedication. You will be sorely missed.

Very sad news this morning...RIP Kathleen

RIP Kathleen Breen Carrowshee Park Lisnaskea. Wednesday 31st December 2025. Kathleen’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday in Holy Cross Church Lisnaskea followed by burial in St. Mary’s cemetery Maguiresbridge. May Kathleen now Rest In Peace.

📣 FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Grants of £3-5,000 available for UK schools, PTAs and not-for-profit organisations, for projects that promote a better understanding of the environment.

Eligible projects include:
- environmental education schemes such as forest schools, farm visits, and nature trails;
- conservation and biodiversity initiatives;
- school farms and tree planting programmes;
- and activities that improve access to the countryside for young people and disadvantaged groups.
Community-led projects, including sensory gardens, eco-classrooms, and heritage-focused schemes, are also considered.

Applications can be submitted at any time and are reviewed quarterly by the Trustees.
