We have a local family seeking somewhere to keep a horse preferably in a small private yard. The bonus would be having access to a sand school if possible!!

Hillsborough Working Together’s craft fayre is on tomorrow in Hillsborough Village Centre from 10am until 2pm.

There’s a great line up of local businesses so please call in and give them a bit of support!

There has been a dog found wandering on the edentrillick hill. The dog is safe and being looked after at Cromlyn vets. If anyone knows who owns the dog please pass this information on.

Well… one look out the window this morning and it’s definitely giving “Northern Ireland summer” vibes! ☔️🌦️

But regardless of the weather, our STREET FOOD event is STILL going ahead this evening — and we’ve plenty of indoor cover available if needed, along with takeaway options too!

A huge amount of work has gone into organising this event over many weeks, and our chefs are already hard at work preparing the brisket which was such a massive hit last year! 🍔🔥

The good news is the forecast is due to improve as the day goes on, so please do come along, support the event, enjoy some fantastic food and help us continue investing back into our community.

Without local support, events like this simply can’t happen — and neither can future community improvements.

🚜 MAJOR EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

You are all invited to attend the first ever Harry Ferguson Heritage Festival at the Ferguson Farmstead (Magheraconluce Rd, Annahilt) on Saturday 15th August 2026!

Join us for what promises to be a fantastic family day out at the birthplace of Harry Ferguson and celebrate the remarkable legacy of one of Northern Ireland’s greatest innovators.

There will be something for everyone, including:

🚜 working tractor/ploughing area - plough on the fields where Harry walked and worked
🎡 A wide range of activities for children
🎶 Live music throughout the day
🛍️ A superb selection of stalls
🍔 Delicious hot food and ice cream
🐑 Petting farm, face painting and much more!

We especially want to celebrate the anniversaries of Ferguson Brown, TE20s, FE35s, MF500, 300 Series and 3000 Series tractors — so if you have one, bring it along!

We want to make this the BIGGEST event ever held at the place where the Harry Ferguson story began.
