Omagh Forum is working with Rural Community Network and RAPID on rural civil contingency planning. This workshop is bringing people together to explore how rural communities prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies, such as severe weather or power failure. The workshop will be held at Glenpark Estate on the13th of October at 7pm. It is designed to be interactive, informal and community-led rather than a traditional workshop or emergency-planning session.
Please email info at Omagh Forum to register your attendance [email protected] The online survey is still open to capture as much lived experience as possible. The survey takes around 15 minutes, and your views will help shape recommendations for improving rural emergency planning, support and collaboration.
As a thank you, you can enter a draw for a £100 One4all gift card by entering your email address at the end of the survey.

As a community group we are deeply saddened by the passing of our Chairperson, Ann Monteith and pass on our sympathy to her husband Derek and children Daryl, Stacey (Nathan) Julie and sister in law, Audrey.
Ann will be sorely missed by everyone in our local community as she was a tireless worker for our group and she put her heart and soul into everything that she did.
She will never be forgotten, and her legacy will live on throughout the tireless work that she did.
Ann’s wake will be held in Drumnakilly Community Hall this evening from 5.00 to 8.30pm and a celebration of her life will be held tomorrow Sunday 9th August at Drumnakilly Parish Church at 3.00 pm
We will all miss you dearly our dear friend Ann.
Safe in the arms of Jesus.
