As part of Linlithgow's commemorations marking 500 years since the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge, our latest display is now live.
This year, the Vennel Bed features a beautiful representation of the River Avon, surrounded by meadow plants that would have been native to the area where the historic battle was fought back in 1526.
The shields on display represent the coats of arms of the Earl of Lennox and the Earl of Arran, who fought for custody of the young King James V.
Pictured here are the wonderful Burgh Beautiful volunteers who worked hard to design and create this incredible display.
Next time you are passing by, take a moment to stop, enjoy the planting, and step back in time!
