FLOTILLA OF LIGHTS on Saturday 8th November ⛵⛵⛵✨🎶🌊 !

This amazing event is organised by our friends at the LCA and attended by many kind volunteer boaters and canal lovers. 🤗

Please bring a lantern and be ready to catch a sweetie or two! 🏮

As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, the Linlithgow Union Canal Society (LUCS) is hosting a special flotilla and boaters gathering on Saturday 6th September 2025, and all are warmly invited to take part.

The flotilla will depart from Winchburgh Marina at 2.30pm, arriving at the Linlithgow Canal Basin at 5.30pm, where a boaters gathering with food, drinks and music ( ) will follow.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the heritage of the Union Canal, connect with fellow boaters, and enjoy a memorable day on the water.

As part of their 50th anniversary year, LUCS is planning a flotilla and boaters gathering on Saturday 6th September.

Boats will gather at Winchburgh to leave there at 2.30pm in a flotilla to Linlithgow. At 6.30pm LUCS is hosting a boaters gathering with live music and will be providing free burgers and soft drinks for all boaters.

CMS has been making lots of progress at our Communtiy Moorings at Orchard Bank this year. We’ve now got a path along the moorings, 5 electricity and water bollards to serve 10 boats, a car park, connected to the grid, started to install a facility block, planted potatoes and pumpkins (for PYO pumpkin days in Oct) and we’ve now filled all of our moorings! It’s been very a busy year for us!
