Christmas dinner and disco was a hit!๐ŸŽ„๐Ÿ•บ

A huge well done to all staff involved in creating this special evening for the cadets.
I will say a big thank you to our very own Sgt Cox as he done amazing in the kitchen preparing the delicious meal for everyone to enjoy.
Another huge thank you goes to Mark Cordina for being our DJ for the night! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿซก from start to finish you kept everyone on the dance floor. Thank you!
Tonight would not of happened without all the support from all staff and volunteers, so one more time.... THANK YOU ALL!๐Ÿ‘

This morning saw our unit remember the cadets who lost their lives in the 1951 bus disaster on Dock Road.

The unit, along with Medway Victory Sea Cadets attended a service and payed their respects to the 24 young cadets who passed.

The Mayor of Medway and PMPT Mason's placed wreaths in honour.

Lt cdr Gambell, Lt cdr Small and Cdr Mitchell also attended to pay their respects.

Some of our staff and cadets then went on to attend the remembrance plaque on Dock Road and others attended the graves of the cadets not laid to rest at Woodlands Cemetery.

Thank you all who attended this morning's service and we'll done to all cadets and staff. ๐Ÿซก

This evening we are running through the routines for Sundays remembrance parade at Woodlands Cemetery.
Cadets are also going through uniform checks and paying tribute to the fallen cadets at final colours.

A rare insight into a more relaxed approach to a CRMCU evening.
Our cadets took on the challenge of Halloween wearing alternatives to uniform and taking part in a variety of games and competitions set up by our UMT Pink Ladies.
No cadets were hurt in the making of these photos ๐Ÿคช but did require a scrub up after an alternative version of Apple bobbing with cream

Great turnout tonight for divisions evening.

We had VIP's attend tonight to take part in awarding certificates to staff and speak with our cadets.

Mr Hammel from the RNA came to say how pleased he was that they could help with a donation towards training aids, the RNA are valued supporters of our unit.

The Kent Police Crime Commissioner attended and spoke with cadets during inspections and got to see cadets in action with drill.

District Officer Lt Cdr Gambell had the pleasure of handing staff their promotion certificates and WO Gambell joined in with cadets and staff teaching knots as part of the cadets seamanship lesson.

The evening was finished off celebrating the Corps birthday with cakes provided by our in-house Baker.
