Meet Joy, a teacher at St Patrick Primary School in Jinja, Uganda.

Through Aprender’s training, Joy has been strengthening the way she communicates, plans lessons and supports her learners.

She highlights Communication and The Big 4 focused on essential lesson-planning skills as two areas that have shaped her practice.

Today, her approach places greater emphasis on helping children understand, improve and take part in finding solutions in their learning.

Looking ahead, Joy hopes to explore Project Zero Zeros: a commitment to seeing no child fail.
