🚨 UK Driving Test Update 🚨

If you’re currently learning to drive or trying to book a test, please be careful right now because a lot has changed this month.

The DVSA has started cracking down on booking bots and social media “fast slot” scams.

A few important changes:

• Instructors and apps can’t book tests for you anymore. You now have to book it yourself on GOV.UK.

• Please stop paying random people online for “quick dates” because a lot of them are scams.

• Want to swap dates with another learner? You now both have to call DVSA directly to do it manually.

• From June 9th, when changing your test date, you’ll only be allowed to move it to one of the 3 closest test centres.

• You can also only change your test twice now before losing your fee.

• They’ve also added CPR and defibrillator (AED) questions into the theory test.

Share this with someone learning to drive so they don’t get caught out.

🚨 Quick update for anyone booking a driving test! 🚨

Hey everyone, please be careful if you or your family members are trying to book a practical driving test right now. The DVSA brought in strict new rules this month to stop those social media booking scams and bots.

Here is the quick breakdown:

No more app bookings: As of May 12th, instructors and third-party apps are banned from booking tests for you. Only you can book your own test now on GOV.UK. Don’t pay anyone online for “fast slots”—it’s a scam!

Swapping is now manual: If you want to swap dates with another learner, you can’t use an app anymore. You both have to call the DVSA helpline directly to swap it manually over the phone using your booking references.

Location lock (Coming June 9th): If you try to reschedule your test next month, the system will only let you move it to one of the 3 closest test centres to your original booking.

Change limits: You can only change your test date a maximum of 2 times now before you lose your fee.

Theory update: There are now mandatory questions on CPR and how to use a defibrillator (AED) on the theory test.

Please share this with any family or friends currently learning to drive so they don’t get caught out! 🚗💨
