We are so back! 🥳

After an amazing summer and Poacher Jamboree, we’re back and ready to make our mark in the community.

With a new programme, new skills and new ideas, we can’t wait to share what we have in store!

“We don’t own it, but we want to look after it and make people feel welcome. It’s for everyone in Scouts.”’

Site service, community, and values all in one this weekend. Our Explorers spent the day starting a reading and reflection corner at the HQ, allowing young campers a chance to take a breath, relax, or make memories together.

The centrepiece of this was “the throne” - a well loved chair that they repainted and gave a new bit of life. Wanting to get more young people involved, we then invited the beavers from 7th Lincoln to come leave their mark- hoping that other visitors will come and add to the chair!

A 100% youth led project that will hopefully bring lots of joy for our young people.

A weekend so good it took us 3 days to post about it!

Our volunteers and explorers had an amazing time at Weekend On the Water with LDWA and the Lincolnshire County Team!

We came away with some amazing memories and even a few permits! Massive thanks to those that made it possible.

This week is all about rescues, recovery and response!

Whether it’s when out on the water or on the trail, knowing what to do when things go wrong is vital for a safe trip away from home.

Jonathan from Excalibur Sea Scout Explorers - recognised this week by someone who sees exactly how much he gives. Building a unit from scratch takes something special, and Jonathan brings it every single time. Thank you for everything that you do. 💜

Your hard work helps young people gain skills, build confidence and find a place to belong. Thank you!
