Yesterday the Better Together Swim Club completed their swim of the Channel together. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇫🇷

They started back in January at Yarborough leisure centre and ended yesterday at the open air pool at Woodall Spa after 1,352 laps.

Celebrating with a French picnic, certificate and medals for the achievement.

Congrats to all participants involved 🏆

Learn new skills either great tutors in the peace and beauty of one of Lincoln’s great green spaces- Boultham park. We have made the old bowls club into a charming workshop space for all to enjoy. Sign up or ask to be on our mailing list as we run courses throughout the year.

After we had taught pinch pots techniques in art class, it inspired several participants to continue experimenting with clay at home.

Here are some beautiful examples of several finished pieces.

Better together art club meets bi weekly on Thursdays.

We have received some amazing photos for our photography competition. To ensure we have a broad coverage, we'd love to see some winter inspired photos particularly for our Christmas Cards 🎄☃️ There's still plenty of time to submit 🙂

We'd love to see your photographs depicting "What does wellbeing mean to me?" This is the first year we'll be producing saleable calendars and Christmas cards and we can't wait to see what images are sent in.
plus is a Lincoln based charity, some of it's projects are also Countywide. As grant funding becomes harder to obtain, we developed .feelgoodandthrive Lumina - feel good and thrive to generate our own income. We support rough sleepers, ex-offenders and people where mental health is their main barrier preventing them from moving forward.

Board Boys is our new weekly men’s group where we hang out, play board games and have a bit of time for ourselves. Just a relaxed space to connect with others.

This Monday we had a chess tournament, a couple of beginners and some seasoned players, but all good fun 😁

If you’re looking for a calm, friendly group to join, come along. Tea, games and good company.

Every Monday @ Queens Park Community Hub 1-3pm.
