Go out there and shine like the stars you are! Have the best time making new friends and showing your new teachers just how incredible you all are 🐝

And just like that Bailgate Pre-school has closed its doors for the final time after 44 years 💔🥺
Our staff and some of their children are rightly celebrating at the pub. (Minus Charlotte who sadly couldn't make it)

We would all like to thank everyone for their kind words, cards and gifts. We have been blown away by your kindness and love.

Wednesdays "what we will miss" is the
Friendships that have developed whilst being part of Bailgate Preschool, seeing children develop their own personalities and form friendships & watching their confidence grow!

All tapestry journals are ready for you to download- You should recieve an email with a link for you to download your copy of your child's journal. Check your junk box incase it has gone in there!

Please do this ASAP to avoid the risk of losing it before our account closes!

Today is National Lollipop Day. But did you know that just like whole grapes the colourful treats can be a serious choking hazard?

The hard sweet can come off the stick. And it’s the perfect size and shape to completely block a small child’s airway. This happens silently and if you’re not watching you might not even notice.

Please think twice before giving a round lollipop to a young child. Flat lollies are much safer.

If you do give your child one, stay with them whilst they eat it and encourage them to sit still and take small licks instead of putting the whole thing in their mouth.

Todays "What we will miss about Preschool"
We will miss Our outings, Exploring the local area, visiting our friends at Cathedral Care Centre and bus trips to the library, park visits and our random acts of kindness!

As a setting without an out door area we have to think outside the box, but with this it made us appreciate our beautiful local area so much more! How lucky have we been to have our amazing Cathedral and Castle on our door step too 😍

💛🖤 Our Final week of Bailgate Preschool 💛🖤

🐝 Thursday 23rd July - PJ and Pizza party (children are invited to wear their pjs ready to make pizzas, treats and a special film- all invited 9-1pm please bring a packed lunch)

🐝 Friday 24th July- Finish at 1pm (Our final ever day at preschool 💔)

We have lots of toys and books still left over so please help your self from the items left in the hallway, take as much as you would like, I keep adding different bits! Donations are welcome but not required.
What ever is left will unfortunately be thrown out 🙏
