Last week Sadie held a blind date fund raising event for our scout Group following the break in at the hut earlier this year. The event has raised £97.82p this will help to pay for ongoing items needed to help our young people grow in confidence and be proud of what they can do and achieve.

A week at poacher 2026 is over for all the scouts, explorers, guides and all the leaders and staff.
Memories and new friends made, a huge amount of activities most that may not have have been tried before have been done, lunch time at the arena everyday watching some display or entertainment going on. Poacher day for beavers, squirrels, brownies and rainbows doing
many different activities and having a lot of fun. Plus a huge amount of volunteers to make it all work. All volunteers have either had to take a weeks holiday leave of work or unpaid leave. Some of them have been there since the week before poacher setting up and will spend a few days after to take it all down.
At this camp our leaders do all the cooking etc so the young people can start activities as soon as they open till they close, dinner is ready for them and during the day things like sandwiches, crisps, cakes and water etc is ready for them at lunch time. It is hard work for the leaders so the young people get their monies worth as parents have to pay for Poacher but this is an adventure for all to remember.

Good afternoon. Our beavers, cubs and scouts have broken up for the summer. But leaders are still busy sorting camping equipment, checking and getting tents etc ready as they are doing a weeks camp from Saturday at the Poacher international camp with other scout, guides and explorer groups from across the world. Our beavers and cubs are visiting next Tuesday for the day. It is a wonderful experience for all of them. Leaders have spent most of the year preparing for this and now taking 1 week of their holiday allowance from their jobs to ensure the young people have an adventure to remember.
Back in September and we still have spaces at our beaver colony if you know anyone with children between the ages of 6 to 8 years old.

This coming Saturday we are doing the 70+ mile cycle around Lincoln to all the different scout huts please help donate where you can we’re doing this for poacher.

All 3 sections are back this week and we are still looking for new beavers. Thursdays in term time from 6.15 to 7.30pm. Spread the word as our present beavers need new beavers to come and learn lots of new skills and games. Now with the light nights we will be outside more.
