During National Cadet week I would like to praise the parents and cadets of our unit for their continued commitment and support, I have then shared here some recent praise received about our cadets at Lincoln Unit.
A/Cdr (SCC) David Swain RNR Relief Master TS John Jerwood:
I’m writing to commend two junior Sea Cadets from your unit; “their exceptional performance for their age, demonstrating natural leadership, carrying out responsibilities to an exceedingly high professional standard, demonstrating an impressive level of competence.
Both cadets deserve the highest praise and were a credit to the ships company of TS John Jerwood and their unit TS Wrangler.”
Slt (SCC) Josh Priestland RNR District Staff Officer Central District:
Writing to parent of a Lincoln cadet, part of a group of Sea Cadets on a boating course stated;
“What a brilliant time we had with the cadets, their enthusiasm, teamwork and focus blew us all away. They are an absolute credit to you, themselves and their units.”
Irene Astbury Chairperson, Ukrainian Cultural Centre Lincoln:
Wrote to commend our cadets’ conducting duties at their Independence Day stated;
“Your presence added such dignity and respect to our commemoration ceremony, and we are deeply honoured that you joined us.
The cadets were impeccably turned out and were a credit to you. We value your support enormously and it means so much to our whole community.”
This is what makes the Cadet experience so worthwhile for our parents, volunteers and supporters.
