🧵 Step Back into Tudor Times at Tudor Textiles Day! 🧶

Join us this Saturday, 14 March, at St Mary’s Guildhall for a fascinating look at how clothing was made and worn during the Tudor period.

Coventry was once famous for its cloth and wool trade, and St Mary’s Guildhall played an important role in this thriving industry.

Between 11:00am and 3:00pm, discover how Tudors dressed and created their garments through hands-on demonstrations and displays.

✨ Watch wool being spun on a traditional spinning wheel
🪡 Learn how Tudor people sewed their clothing
👒 See examples of Tudor clothing and headwear from different social classes

This special event is included with normal daytime admission, so come along and experience a piece of Coventry’s rich textile history.
