The Network

The Network The Network is aimed at helping young people achieve their potential and access the support they need. https://twitter.com/networklincoln

Advice and guidance is available to help with employment, training, volunteering, apprenticeships, and more! The Network has been established as a ‘one stop shop’ to support young people aged 16-24 in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Working with a variety of partner businesses across Lincoln. The centre is located on the ground floor of City Hall, Lincoln which is part of the new Public Services

‘Hub’ at City Hall and brings services together under one roof, providing a one-stop shop for people who might otherwise not know where to turn. The Network will target its services at young people and will market itself to people who experience barriers to learning, employment, training and social inclusion. The Network will work with commitment and energy to provide a variety of opportunities for young people across Lincoln and the wider City community.

Hello history and heritage folx!
Sharing the below on behalf of LCCs lovely heritage team, so check it out 👇
*Here at LCC's Historic Places team we are working on a project to enhance public engagement with the Historic Environment Record.

SHARE Lincs - Showcase Heritage, Access Records, Explore Lincolnshire - will be a project that looks to support our local communities with engaging with the wealth of historic information contained within the Historic Environment Record, to develop their understanding of the places they call home.

A big part of this will be through our website - the Lincolnshire Heritage Explorer - and we are currently looking to gather feedback on the site as it is currently, to inform the ways in which we can develop and enhance it further going forwards.

If you would like to complete the following survey, we would really appreciate your time and your thoughts on this.

We don't know if you noticed, but it's rather hot at the moment!
We've made the choice to shut our office for a bit, because as lovely as our office is, it's really not designed for the heat ☀
The team is still about though! We'll be offering clients:
-phone calls
-video chats
-meeting at community cool spaces where we can

Basically, we are prioritising our staff, volunteer and client wellbeing in the heat with a specific focus on ensuring that those with underlying health conditions aren't feeling pressured to come to meetings in a hot building via hot public transport!

So if you want to contact us, please don't drop in to the office! Instead phone/text: 07458 016056 or email: [email protected]
