We would like to once again thank the team at SK8s for such a wonderful evening in support of the Move For Cancer event and Teenage Cancer Trust! We would also like to thank everyone who attended the event and donated, your generosity has not gone unnoticed ❤️

A great big thank you to all the people who supported last night's Roller Disco for the Teenage Cancer Trust. An extra thank you to those who generously added extra donations to the pot!

In total you raised £383.30 and this money will be added to the funds Lucy raises in her Move For Cancer campaign. Lucy will be skating a total of 300 miles to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust with the final stretch being completed at an event on the 26th August - please do what you can to support her amazing efforts whether that's by donating money or by skating/cycling/scootering with her, and cheering her on. A quick reminder that the next SK8S Roller Disco is on the 23rd June. This is a fundraising event for the Teenage Cancer Trust. All proceeds from this event will go to the TCT who last year supported Lucy, one of Sk8S' Marshals and her family, whilst she received chemotherapy to treat Hodkin's Lymphoma. Please come along and support this event - all you have to do is skate to donate :D Please spread the word and encourage others to come along so we can sell out the event and raise as much money as we can.

Tickets for our events can be purchased in advance from https://sk8s.biz/eventstickets/ right up until 3pm on the day of the event. If we have tickets left over on the day, we will make them available on the door.

SK8S Roller Discos are open to all ages and abilities unless stated otherwise but under 15s must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event (accompanying adults can spectate for free if they don't want to skate). Join us on Saturday 26th August 2023 on the outdoor athletics track and cycle track at Yarborough Leisure Centre in Lincoln.

Walk or run, bike or scooter, skate alongside us or simply spectate and support. We will be roller skating 300 miles, with the last mile being completed at the Move For Cancer event.
