🏉 Exciting News for Girls’ Rugby in Limavady! 🏉

We are delighted to have successfully secured £2,000 funding from Sport NI through their Engage Her Programme.

This funding will provide valuable support for the continued development of girls’ youth rugby at grassroots level, helping us create more opportunities for young females to get involved, develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy being part of our rugby community.💖

The award comes at a perfect time as we continue to run our “Give It A Try” programme every Wednesday evening, welcoming girls of all abilities who are interested in giving rugby a go in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.🙌

Alongside our Minis’ awards, players heard from former U18s now competing at Championship B, Women’s AIL and GB Touch Rugby level, sharing their rugby journeys and experiences.

A huge thank you also to Senior Women & Girl’s Rugby in Ulster player Stacey Sloan for joining us to present awards and inspire our young players.

We’d also like to thank the Club, Rugby Committee, CCRO Adam Kelly, plus Ballymoney Rugby Club and Coleraine RFC Mini Rugby Academy for their continued support throughout the season.
