Here are the Star Wars peg dolls. Chew Bacca was vintage hand carved wooden peg. C3P0 is an artist wooden figure painted gold and R2D2 was made of a roll on de odorant lid and card and bits of plastic cut offs and anything that I could fiind in my scrap box.

My first evening on joining the Lichfield Miniaturists dolls house club I was handed a clothes peg and some scraps of cloth. I wasn't happy with what I produced for my fist attempt, but on taking it home I had other thoughts. Over the years, I have built up a small collection of peg dolls, and I have since had many ideas for more. Here are just a few that I've made....

Haven't posted for a couple of months. The 'club' is now only five friends and we meet in each others homes once a month which is nice. We now mostly do UFO's. I have made a book nook of 'The Shambles' of York as a scratch built by researching and using left over bits from my husbands N gauge (144 scale) model railway. Rather than a book nook its a CD nook.

With my other hat on (actually a baseball cap) I have been making decorations for the Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust Christmas tree in Lichfield Cathedral. They have a Christmas Tree Festival every year where local groups and charities can sponsor and decorate a tree. Most of the decorations are in some way canal related including tiny narrow boats, lift bridges and shire horses. Do come and visit it and vote for us as you favorite tree (which I hope it will be)! Its on until January 5th.
