The British Open is one of the most prestigious contests, and by all accounts, this year’s field was absolutely outstanding from start to finish, on a terrific piece of music.

It is always an honour to perform on the iconic Birmingham Symphony Hall stage. While our performance didn’t quite find favour this time around, we’d like to thank everyone for the positive comments and support following our performance.

All of our soloists played brilliantly, with a special mention to our Solo Horn player, Emma Conway, who was outstanding.

Congratulations to Foden's on a fantastic victory!

The band will be back in the bandroom tomorrow night as preparations continue for our upcoming Music of Philip Sparke concert, before we head to the Royal Albert Hall the following week for the National Finals.
