One referral to the right support can prevent another child taking their own life. Life can be hard, but there is so much out there to make it a little better and to stop a person feeling there is no other option but to end their life.

MPWR will continue their fight to intercept and provide for children, young people and adults who need vital support, but they need our help to do it.

We will be running 10k on 18th October to raise money. Every single donation counts towards preventing another child becoming a statistic. If you cannot donate, please support us on the day at Burton Albion Football Club where there will be heaps of entertainment as well as access to support. Every single donation helps and even just £6 gets one person access to MPWR support.

Our first ‘Ladies & Little-ones’ walk was a success. We enjoyed some delicious cake and coffee The Hub at St Mary's before heading around Beacon Park.

The ladies had chance to have a good old natter while the little ones had a lovely time collecting leaves while practising their colours and we even finished up with some ice cream!

We have an allocated space at The Hub where we meet from 9.30am before we set off for our wellness walk around the city at 10am.

Beginning next Monday, our Home Ed sessions will be open to all ages with a range of activities going on including; fitness, outdoor running, crafts, Lego, mental health sessions & our mobile gym.

Meeting place will be Stafford Family Hub
Every Monday 2pm-3pm

Our brand new Peer Mentoring workbooks have arrived just in time for our delivery in HMP Leicester.

Our accredited Peer Mentoring programme delves into behavioural theories, additional needs and support strategies so that those trained are able to provide & deliver impactful mentoring to peers.

Those completing the programme are then able to identify peers needing support, strengthen self confidence, promote positive mental health, share knowledge on how to reflect. All aspects are proven to increase attendance, engagement, reduce reoffending and improve behaviour.

Due to demand…

We are excited to announce a brand new inclusive group which will provide local ladies with the opportunity and supportive community to get out of the house, get some steps in, meet new people, enjoy fabulous coffee & cake at The Hub at St Mary's and access our support however and whenever you need it.

Little ones are welcome but equally, you don’t have to be a ‘Mum’ to attend. This group is designed for Mums to meet but is definitely not exclusive to Mums.

Ladies are important to so many and we should be and feel valued whatever title we may/may not hold.

So please come and join us 💚

Our targeted outreach in Burton on Trent began this weekend and already the impact is REAL!

In just 2 hours overall, we have engaged over 100 young people with 100% saying they wanted to return for future sessions. Many started with us on Friday and came back on Saturday with a group of 6 already waiting for us when we arrived!

By day 2 we have even had to expand the flooring area and utilise more equipment - you guys certainly keep us busy!

A massively positive community response too with the local police team stopping by to see what we are achieving.

High achievements include;
*1300 sit ups by 11 year old, Ianis
*2 hours of constant step ups
*deadhang PBs
*pull up PBs
*push up PBs
*LOADS of ‘firsts’

We will be back next week in the exact same spot!

Saturdays 2pm-3pm
