In May, the Birmingham Chapter of Harley Owners Group (Birmingham HOG) visited us as part of their annual charity Poker Run. This year, the event involved a bike route to various locations to collect poker chips, before returning to the Church Hall to play their poker hand 🧡

It was also lovely to see our patient and motorbike enthusiast, Roger, greet the Birmingham HOGs too! Thank you to the HOGs for raising £1,123 and their continued support!

✔️Ensuring all compliance tasks are completed in line with regulations.
✔️Checking and monitoring of medical gases, and portable cylinders.
✔️Unloading stores that arrive and placing into the appropriate storeroom/location.
✔️ Meeting and engaging with approved suppliers.

In Episode 2 - The Heart of St Giles, we hear from long-time volunteer Joan Fairley, as well as Rachel and Andy Barker. The episode explores what inspires our volunteers to give us their time, alongside their personal journeys into volunteering at St Giles.
