Young Farmers are one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK dedicated to young people who have a love for agriculture and rural life. Led by young people, for young people, Young Farmers' Clubs provide 25,000 members with a unique opportunity to develop skills, work with their local communities, travel abroad, take part in a varied competitions programme and enjoy a dynamic social lif

e. There are 624 Young Farmers’ Clubs in England and Wales dedicated to supporting young people in agriculture and the countryside. You don't need to be involved in farming to be a Young Farmer - just someone who appreciates the countryside and enjoys rural life. Lichfield YFC may be a small club but we have lots of fun and make friends for life! Lots of different activities and opportunities arise through young farmer so why not come along and see what we're all about!

What a week it’s been for Lichfield Young Farmers with our Only Fools & Horses Float ☀️

We started off the week with lichfieldbower and walked away with a brilliant 2nd place in their floats competition 🥈

Then we headed over to staffscountyshow with Staffordshire YFC staffsyfc where we competed in the SCFYFC floats competition and walked away with another head turning result of:
🥇1st for Overall Float
🥇1st for the Madders Family Tractor Award
🏆4th for Front Board

Another busy week of record results for Lichfield YFC holding onto our 1st place position at County Show!

Special kudos to Adam Holliday for the stunning tractor for another year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Poultry Stockman on an industry Leading Broiler Farm located only 5 minutes from Lichfield City Centre 📍

Livestock experience preferred, however training will be provided 📄

Competitive Pay 💷

40 Hour week (8:30Am - 5:00Pm) + Alternate Weekend Working (Approx 5 Hours Per Day)
Extra hours required during turnaround time + 7.5 weeks paid holiday.

Everyone at Lichfield Young Farmers Club would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our armed forces from those who have served, are currently serving or will serve, the sacrifices made for our freedom will always be appreciated ❤️

Please join us in remembering all of those servicemen & women who sacrificed so much, and didn’t make it back to their families, were wounded in action or are still away from family.
