A message to our families and volunteers.

The team at FAB are deeply saddened by the recent losses within our armed forces community. Our hearts are with the families, friends and colleagues of the service personnel lost. We understand these events can be upsetting for our families and want to extend our support and let you know we are standing by should you need us.

Last weekend, members of the FAB team travelled across the pond to spend time with our fantastic partners at Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) during their Annual National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp.
Alongside Defence Medical Welfare Services and the MoD, we had the privilege of attending a range of meaningful events, including a reception at the British Embassy, a baseball game honouring fallen heroes, a wonderful banquet hosted by Chef Robert Irvine and seminar sessions where bereaved families courageously shared their stories. On Memorial Day, we joined families at Arlington Cemetery for a moving commemorative service.
Paula Elliott and Heather Watson also had the fantastic opportunity to experience the Rolling to Remember through Washington, D.C.!
The weekend was filled with opportunities to share experiences, learn from one another, and explore how we can continue working together to provide the very best support for bereaved military families.
A huge thank you to Diana Roday Hosford for being such a wonderful host and for ensuring we had an unforgettable weekend of engagement, learning, and connection with both our UK deligation and the inspiring families we met along the way.
We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership and collaboration in the years ahead.

We are delighted to announce we have continued support from who have pledged a grant for £15,000 in 2026 and 2027! ✨️

Our funds from Veterans Foundation allow us to continue to support Bereaved military families across the UK and enable us to run FAB camps over the summer!! Thank you for the continued partnership we are looking forward to a FABulous year ahead 🧡💜
