At AVR, volunteering is truly a family affair! 🐰❤️
Here is one of our youngest volunteers working incredibly hard to help build our next enclosure. He might only be 6 years old, but he’s already got some amazing building skills! 🔨✨
Can anyone guess who (or what) will be moving into this cozy new home soon? 👇👇

Beautiful Boo is looking for a fantastic home to call her own after being found on the streets as a kitten 😢

* Approx 1 year old
* Loves fuss
* Learning to play
* No medical issues

❤️ Why adopt from us? ❤️

Before leaving our foster care all our animals have been:

🐾 Vet checked at the very least once
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Micro-chipped
🐾 Fully vaccinated
🐾 Flea, worm and tick treated
🐾 Blood tested where appropriate
🐾 Received other vet treatments when necessary
🐾 Cats also have 5 weeks FREE insurance with Agria Pet Insurance what ever their age

All our animals have been in our foster care long enough for us to know their personalities, their likes, dislikes, any signs of current illness will have been investigated and any ongoing issues will be disclosed to potential adoptors

This means we can match the correct pet to the correct home when we come out to visit you (visits are free)

We ask you to come and meet your new pet/s before committing to any payments, which means you are not under any obligation to adopt until you feel everything feels right

And for ALL this we only ask a minimum of £100 adoption donation per cat and a minimum of £60 adoption donation per rabbit once all of us are happy - that includes your pet!

If you are able to offer a permanent, loving home to any of our animals, please email [email protected] with your name, address and phone number to request a home visit

A lot of our volunteering that the public don't see is spent trying to catch unneutered male and female stray cats before even more unwanted kittens are born 😟

This is called Trap Neuter Return or Relocate (depending on where they have been living)
We use large humane traps that do not hurt the cats

Thankfully some fantastic communities are helping us with feeding these cats regularly to get them into a routine before we try to catch them

Our volunteer Sarah Cullen is currently helping with this colony, sadly around 50 cats need to be neutered, 3 more of them caught last night
