Good evening all.
Today, 8 members of the group attended a visit to the Birmingham City Council House. The event, which was organised by Pat Round, was expertly led by Jonothon Berg, and his assistant Jemma. The tour started outside the building with an explanation of the history of Victoria square, and we were then taken on a very comprehensive tour inside the building which included a visit to the Council chamber. Unfortunately, during the visit, Mike Brinkworth decided to carry out a coup d'etat and he elected himself Mayor of Birmingham. We are all now his subjects.....Many thanks to Pat for organising such an interesting visit.
